Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, swescroll.com, and nothing else. The Swescroll iOS app has its own privacy policy at tinywave.io/swescroll/privacy, which describes what the app itself does and doesn't collect.

The data controller for this website is Tinywave AB, Sweden. You can reach us at info@tinywave.io.

The Android waitlist

If you join the Android waitlist, we store your email address and the time you signed up. We use it for exactly one thing: sending you one email if Swescroll becomes available on Android. No newsletter, no marketing, nothing else.

The legal basis is your consent — the checkbox you tick when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@tinywave.io and we'll delete your address.

Addresses are stored with Upstash (Redis, hosted in the EU), provisioned through Vercel, which also hosts this site. We keep them until we've sent that one email, until you ask us to delete yours, or until we decide an Android version isn't happening — whichever comes first. We don't share the list with anyone.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU cloud, hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used: page views, which platform visitors are on (iPhone, Android, or desktop), clicks on the App Store link, and waitlist signups as a count. Your email address is never included in analytics data.

Analytics runs without cookies or any persistent identifiers — nothing is stored on your device, which is why this site has no cookie banner. Data is anonymous and we can't tie it back to you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. For this site, what we could hold about you is at most one email address. Email info@tinywave.io and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Sweden, that's IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. If we ever wanted to use waitlist addresses for anything beyond that one email, we would ask for your consent first.
