What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, swescroll.com, and nothing else. The Swescroll iOS app has its own privacy policy at tinywave.io/swescroll/privacy, which describes what the app itself does and doesn't collect.

The data controller for this website is Tinywave AB, Sweden. You can reach us at info@tinywave.io.

The Android waitlist (closed)

Swescroll is now on Android, so the waitlist is closed and the form is gone. While it was open we stored your email address and the time you signed up, and used it for exactly one thing: one email telling you the Android version had arrived. No newsletter, no marketing, nothing else.

The legal basis was your consent — the checkbox you ticked when you signed up. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@tinywave.io and we'll delete your address.

Addresses are stored with Upstash (Redis, hosted in the EU), provisioned through Vercel, which also hosts this site. We keep them until you ask us to delete yours. We don't share the list with anyone.

The citizenship quiz

If you leave your email on the citizenship practice quiz to see your answers, we store your email address, your score, and which link brought you to the quiz. We use it to send you the answers, your offer code for the Swescroll app, and a short series of emails about learning Swedish. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all of them.

The legal basis is your consent — the checkbox you tick before submitting. Addresses are stored with MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, hosted in the European Union), which sends the emails on our behalf. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it by emailing info@tinywave.io. We don't share the list with anyone else.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU cloud, hosted in the European Union) to understand how the site is used: page views, which platform visitors are on (iPhone, Android, or desktop), clicks on the App Store and Google Play links, and on the citizenship quiz: starts, scores, shares and email submissions as counts, tagged with which link brought you there. Your email address is never included in analytics data.

Analytics runs without cookies or any persistent identifiers — nothing is stored on your device, which is why this site has no cookie banner. Data is anonymous and we can't tie it back to you.

This site sets no cookies.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent. For this site, what we could hold about you is at most your email address and a quiz score. Email info@tinywave.io and we'll sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Sweden, that's IMY (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with an updated date. If we ever wanted to use waitlist addresses for anything beyond that one email, we would ask for your consent first.
